About Bonnie

Bonnie McComb Kreye graduated from the Alberta College of Art and Design as a studio potter in 1968.  Over her artistic career she worked as a studio potter, a ceramics instructor, an arts administrator on Saltspring Island, and an art teacher in alternative programs in the Victoria School District.  Upon retirement in 2002, Bonnie began painting, first mandalas in gouache, then landscapes and still lifes, before discovering her passion in abstraction while studying with Bill Porteous.  The works you see here are from the period 2010 to 2013.  Bonnie McComb Kreye died on July 1, 2013 at the age of 68.
